I’m David, the creator behind Dave X Outdoors. I’m a wildlife photographer, drone pilot, and cinematographer obsessed with capturing the details of the natural world that most people drive past. My goal is simple: to document the wild using the best tools available today.

• My "office" moves. I operate out of a Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon paired with a Cirrus 620 camper. This setup allows me to stay on-site until the light is perfect, whether I’m deep in the backcountry or tracking wildlife in the high desert. It’s not just about the destination; it’s about having the capability to stay there.

• The Toolkit, I don’t believe in gear for gear’s sake—I believe in efficiency.

• In the Air: I fly the DJI Mini 4 Pro and Avata 2 for cinematic perspectives.

• On the Ground: My primary glass is the Sony a6700, capturing everything from wide vistas to intricate macro details.

• In the Lab: I cut my films in DaVinci Resolve and process my stills in Adobe Lightroom, utilizing the power of the MacBook Air M4 and iPad Pro M4 to keep my workflow fast and mobile.
